‘Farnham, a charming old English market town’

Farnham is an old English market town with charming narrow streets that are lined with some of the finest Georgian architecture to be found in southern England.

Just an hour by car from London, there is much for a visitor to enjoy here, including an award-winning museum, the Hogs Back Brewery, the 12th century Farnham Castle, the Rural Life Centre and Farnham Maltings, a community arts centre that is home to a number of social events throughout the year.

In addition to sightseeing and browsing around the town’s fascinating specialist shops, galleries, cafes, restaurant and pubs, Farnham is also the perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside, with valleys, woodlands, streams and rivers, ancient hedgerows and panoramic views over the gentle Surrey hills. Farnham’s winding country lanes and cycle paths ensure the town and its landcapes are a great place to explore on foot or by bicycle.
